Philanthropic Advisory consultants

Allison Erdle,

Founder + Managing Partner

Allison Erdle has spent her career on every side of philanthropy — as a nonprofit professional, a major gift fundraiser, a family board member, manager of a $25 million family foundation, and as a volunteer — and what she has seen from each vantage point has shaped a singular conviction: that generosity, practiced with intention, has the power to transform communities. That belief was planted early, watching her father give freely to those around him, and it has driven her work ever since.

Since 2006, Allison has led Erdle Consulting Group LLC, advising organizations across the business, nonprofit, and philanthropic landscape. She leverages her international MBA and financial acumen working with investment advisory firms and accounting for foundations, to understand the intersection of fiduciary, strategic and operational goals for wealth management and philanthropy. Allison brings strategic vision, practical expertise, and a solution oriented focus to every project.

She’s driven by her belief that the nonprofit sector is one of the most powerful and underleveraged forces in our economy, and has made it her life's work to help the people who fund it gain clarity, confidence, and joy, leaving a legacy worthy of the generosity they already possess.

When Allison Erdle isn’t busy shaking up the philanthropic world, she’s at home in Virginia with her husband Garrett and their two exuberant labradors. She’s a board member for the Washington Forrest Foundation, a grant reader for the Community Foundation of Northern Virginia and the Arlington Community Foundation, a Trustee for the Center for Youth and Family Advocacy (CYFA), and a former Advancement Chair for a K-8 school, Team Parent and coach for countless athletic teams.

She is a fierce advocate for community change — on and off the clock. Her personal philanthropy focus is youth opportunity, leadership, and access and workforce development and skill buioding for youth and young adults.

In her downtime, you’ll find her cooking up a storm, hitting the ski slopes, playing tennis, taking long walks with the dogs, or embarking on new adventures with her kids and family.
